Ci-dessous la présentation du séminaire en ligne « Young FIDE » à destination de la jeune recherche. Le fait que ce séminaire soit organisé en ligne pour cette édition est une belle opportunité pour y participer.

Following a by-now good tradition, the FIDE 2021 Congress in the Netherlands features a Young FIDE Seminar (previously the PhD-Seminar). In contrast to the main congress, which was moved to 3 to 6 November 2021, the Young FIDE Seminar is organised as an online event in collaboration with Leiden University and will take place on 12 May 2021. The Seminar brings together junior EU law scholars and practitioners to discuss the three topics of the main FIDE congress.

During the Seminar, a selection of papers on these three FIDE topics – submitted by junior EU law scholars – will be presented. Subsequently, panels of experts and young rapporteurs will comment on these papers and facilitate a discussion with the participants. We are also delighted to announce that Sacha Prechal, Judge at the CJEU, will deliver a guest lecture.

Attendance of the online Young FIDE Seminar is free of charge.

For participants of this seminar who wish to attend the main FIDE 2021 Congress there is a reduced fee of 350 EUR (early registration) or 400 EUR (late registration) available. Please note, however, that registration for the main FIDE Congress is not required for participation during the online Young FIDE Seminar.

We are looking forward to an insightful online event.
